Sometimes it’s nice to just take a long, hot shower and to simply allow the water to wash away all of your stress and negative feelings.
The promise of hot coffee, warm brownies, and cool spring air wafting through open windows afterwards never hurts either.

My short story is done!
It’s good enough that I’m fairly comfortable with the idea of turning it in, anyway. I just hope everything goes well and I conveyed things clearly enough. I definitely like where it ended up. I’m pretty excited about it.

My break hit a definite high note when I realized I started it just as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls was coming on and is now being followed by Raiders of the Lost Ark.
God I love these movies (though Crystal Skulls isn’t NEARLY as good as its predecessors).
I just finished Draft C of the short story I’m working on for my Creative Writing class and I’ve decided to take a bit of a break before I go back and look through it for (hopefully) the last time before I decide it’s ready to be turned in.
I’m debating whether or not I want to take a real break, which will consist of me possibly watching a movie and/or goofing around on...

The short story I have to write for my creative writing class needs to be 6-8 pages long (double-spaced, times new roman, naturally).
The first draft that I turned in isn’t the complete story. It’s four pages long and all back story material.

I just spent an hour deleting my deviantArt account and the Myspace account I apparently forgot to delete when I made the switch to Facebook. It might have taken slightly less time, but I wanted to go through them and extract what I could for posterity and use-in-future-writing purposes.
I am so very glad that’s all over with.
