There are moments in which I want nothing more than to burn bridges and forget things from my past.
There are infinitely more moments in which I realize just how desperately attached I am to each and every one of my friends.

(101) Akai Ito
This is the opening of a Japanese television series (which is also a movie, I think) called Akai Ito (in English it means red thread).
I can’t even begin to describe how much this concept means to me right now.

One: I’m still not at all sure about what I want to do with my life aside from wanting it to be language related.

1. I survived my first 18 credit hour week.
2. I managed to make a few aquaintences who may over time become friends.
3. I am so far enjoying all of my classes and teachers and am looking forward to the rest of the semester.
4. My favorite guy at my favorite Starbucks still remembers my order even though I’ve only been there maybe two or three times in the last year as opposed to much...
